[PHOTOS]: Miss Colombia Contestant Banned From Pageant Because Her Bikini Is 'Too Revealing'

One of the favourites for the Miss Colombia crown was thrown out of the competition because of possibly the most surprising reason.

The judges decided Paola Builes wore a bikini that was 'too revealing' in her modelling photos - they seem fine to us.

Apparently photos of recent photoshoot were leaked from fans of a rival contender to the judges who disqualified the 21 year old model.

Specifically they said that she broke rules by being photographed in a bikini of a 'certain size'. She was thrown out just before the actual bikini round as well. They were also promo shots for a brand of clothing which is a no-no in the pageant.

Her family have said that she was devastated after being told not to bother to turn up for the final event and we can imagine plenty of Colombians were too.

Actress Chika Ike Shares Her New Photos

The hard-working Nollywood actress Chika Ike has decided to skip one fitness training session in order to enjoy the "sweets" of life.



The Nigerian beauty took to her Facebook page to post a series of photos of herself wearing a tight coral dress. The actress also pointed out that one of her major plans for the day was to buy an ice-cream, which she actually did.


She captioned the last photo: "Ice cream always makes me smile...... I just had to indulge today!!!! Sorry fitness, I had to cheat on you with ice cream . we will continue our romance tomorrow."



Chika, with the fantastic body of hers, can definitely afford skipping the training without finding an excuse! Especially after she shared her workout pictures some time ago.

Nigerian Singer Kefee To Be Buried On July 11

Nigerian singer, Kefee Obareki Don Momoh, who died of lungs failure on June 13th after 15 days in coma at Desert Spring Hospital, Las Vegas will be buried on Friday, July 11th in her hometown of Okpara-Inland, Ethiope East LGA of Delta State.

According to bellanaija, her family disclosed the information to members of the Kefee Memorial Committee (a collection of artistes and entertainment personalities who paid a condolence visit to the late singer’s parents) in their Sapele home, Delta State, on Wednesday, 2nd July 2014.

On Thursday, her publicist in Lagos released a statement stating her husband, Teddy Don-Momoh, who has been making arrangements to bring her body back from the U.S., would arrive the country first to receive her body before taking her down to Delta State for burial.

Kefee's husband, Teddy, earlier indicated that his wife’s family had requested that she be buried in their hometown, with a celebratory service in Sapele afterwards and he was comfortable with the arrangement.

The condolence team who travelled to Sapele from Lagos included Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, Annie Ibrahim, Gordons, Princess, Linda Etukudo, Rex Anighoro, Noah Momodu, Covenant and Chika 100%.

News of her sickness first broke out on May 29 after the branama crooner and radio personality, Kefee reportedly fainted while being on board the plane to Chicago.

Meanwhile the late Kefee's medical bills at the US hospital where she was receiving treatment before her death were allegedly paid by the current Delta State Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, according to theNetNG.

A condolence register has been opened for the singer at her restaurant, Branama Kitchen, Mende, Maryland, Lagos.

Sammie, who spoke on behalf of the committee that paid a tribute to the late Kefee, said:

“We will perform the last respects we owe our sister to the best of our abilities. We will let the world know that a queen was here and she will always be celebrated.

"She brought peace, happiness and love to the world even in her passing and even though we are heartbroken, we will be comforted in the fact that God knows best and we cannot question him”, he said.

Anny, a gospel artiste and close friend of Kefee, spoke of how Kefee introduced her into the entertainment industry and said that she had stopped mourning but was now celebrating Kefee’s life.

Comedian, Princess Dammy, said:

“Kefee was a huge gift put in a small container for all of us and we didn’t even know how powerful she was. She made such a huge impact in her short life that some men of 50 years have not achieved. You are a lucky man to have had her as your child,” she told Kefee’s father.

Nikki Laoye, a gospel artiste, spoke of their friendship, assured family that the entertainment industry would continue to support them and prayed for their continued good health, especially, in times like this:

“Kefee was a fighter and unapologetically passionate about her music and her art. Till her last breath, she spent her time and energy sharing her message of love, strength and peace across the world.”

Late Kefee’s father, Andrew Obareki, thanked the members of the committee:

“I stand on the authority of the word of God and use the key of David to shut the gates of death from the entertainment industry; there shall be no more sudden, tragic, premature and untimely deaths. “I’m glad Kefee touched the lives of many and her memory will continue to live on. Sometimes it’s not easy to give God thanks but we have no choice,” he said.

The award-winning singer Kefee, who started her music career at the age of 8 in her church choir, has hit songs like ‘Branama’ and ‘Kokoroko’. She won best collaboration Headies Award in 2010.

The Sapele-born 34-year-old artiste had also completed her courses in production and directing at the Chicago Access Network TV, the USA, graduating as a certified video director.

Yobo’s wife hits back at critics for dissing her family over World Cup exit

Adaeze Yobo has tougher skin that we thought; the wife of the recently retired Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo has lashed back at the many critics who’ve insulted her family and blamed her hubby for the team’s recent loss at the World Cup.

Nigeria was knocked out of the second round after suffering a defeat against France. Les Blues won by two goals to nil thanks to two late goals – the first from french midfielder Paul Pogba and an own goal from Joseph Yobo. Shortly after the match, Nigerians took to social media to express their disappointment in Yobo…on his wife’s Twitter and Instagram pages.

Nollywood has become too boring and predictable for me - Jim Iyke

In a new chat with Punch,Jim Iyke explains why he is not seen in Nollywood movies lately...

“Nothing was challenging anymore. It was too easy and too perpetual. It was too boring and too predictable. I had no room to pursue or hone other skill sets I had. I didn’t have time for extra curriculums like hobbies, family, and friends, personal and social advancements. Something had to give! After all, I was the guy that made 38 films in a year,”

On his bad boy image and constant controversies......

“I’ve heard that I deem myself something of a puppeteer and that I orchestrate these media maelstroms to maintain relevance and news. I wish I was that creative! The other side of the debate – the more discerning would argue – I’m a victim of PR machinery gone wrong. Perhaps my handlers in the earlier stages of my career saw a need to create an unfathomable media being that was as audacious as the characters I played in films.

“It caught on. Caused quite a stir, then quickly spiralled out of control. There were days when I wondered if I could have done something about it; like a campaign to state I was a different person. But then, the media loved it too much. It sold millions of movies. It sold papers. It also sold my privacy and peace of mind. I struggled for years to understand what it was doing to my psyche, my relationships, my family, my spirituality
