Early this morning, many woke up to the news that Nigerian multiple-award-winning record producer, singer-songwriter, musician, CEO of Nigerian record label, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, had a car accident which claimed his life.

The news, which emanated from a certain blogger, ‘Ogbonna Ikechukwu’ for Lafingas.com, who wrote an article late hours of yesterday, that the Music Mogul and entrepreneur passed away after he was rushed to a hospital because he suffered injuries from a car accident. The Nigerian music industry has lost one of its greatest stars, and its MARVIN Boss Don Jazzy. He was involved in a car accident on the early hours of the morning. It has also be announced on MTV base, Channel O, Trace, Soundcity, E! Entertainment, Nigezie and all social medias. News report gathered that he was rushed to a nearby hospital but gave up the ghost about an hour ago. O no! Marvin Boss is gone. May he r.i.p!!!!!!
However, the 31-year-old, Abia State born musician, who is from Delta took to Instagram to debunk death rumours saying he is hale and hearty and that it is just mere rumour as he was not involved in any accident.
He posted this image on his Instagram page:
With this inscription:
“May GOD continue to keep us alive and well. Amen. Well I am very much alive and have not been in any car accident I can remember. Thanks. #Mavin.”
It could be recalled that the music producer recently revealed why he has been single.
